DMCA Copyright Policy

MilMoneyPro respects intellectual-property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice that includes all of the following elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

Required contents of a takedown notice

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with the URL or other information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Misrepresentations: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentified, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) that includes: (i) your physical or electronic signature; (ii) identification of the removed material and the location at which it appeared before removal; (iii) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and (iv) your name, address, and telephone number, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida), and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.

Repeat infringers

Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), MilMoneyPro has adopted and reasonably implements a policy that provides for the termination, in appropriate circumstances, of accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
